Loving You From Afar
During this pandemic, the world continues to move on. People start going out with their mask on shopping, taking trips and spending time with others. We forget about the people that are stuck in their homes, the vulnerable populations. When I created this card, I thought it was perfect because we should be loving those people from afar and letting them know we care about them, whether they are 10 or 100 years old. Please let this card and video inspire you to spread some joy to those people, and do not forget them.

I know the percipient of this card is just going to be so happy. It is a simple card with sponging on the edges of the sentiment, but it packs a powerful meaning. Plus, it was relaxing making a simple card for a change.

Six Feet Apart - April 12, 2020
I had a great time making these cards. It is hard to tell but the shaker contents actually match the strips in the paper. I could not find my acetate sheets so I used a page protector from my scrapbooking collection to make the shaker window. It was so much fun, and I know that when I send these cards out, they will put a smile on others faces since this is such a difficult time. We are all facing challenges we never even thought about. Our nurses and doctors are on the front lines dealing with the virus; while grocery store and pharmacy workers are keeping our shelves stocked with goods and our medicines filled. Delivery drivers are working hard to bring goods to the people trapped in their homes. People are everywhere doing something they thought would never happen or even fathom.
