Christmas Card 2021

I created this card for Christmas 2021 by casing Nina-Marie but decided I did not want a pull tab across the sky for Santa's sleigh to move, instead I wanted some surprise elements.  I love this set by Simon Says Stamp Santa's Sleigh Ride.  I normally do not invest in the dies, very often.  However, when you make 60+ Christmas cards each year, fussy cutting gets tedious, but sometimes necessary.  I really wanted a pastel village to give a a retro vibe.  I used glow in the dark Nuvo drops to cover the windows and ornaments on the trees.  I thought it was fun surprise to have the dimension of the ornaments, and the making the card come to life at night.  I added Diamond Stickles for that glittery snow.  I distressed the sky putting a soft glow coming from my village.  The snow is hand drawn with white gel pen.  All the elements are popped up, and I had to add a little glimmer spray to make everything glisten! Thanks for stopping by and enjoying my creation!

Happy, Happy, Happy Anniversary - January 15, 2022

In 2022, I am continuing to rad the stash in my craft room and use some supplies I have never used.  I have several anniversary cards to make this year.  I decided to use Lawn Fawn Outside in Stitched Heart Stackables set to create a heart background.  Instead of cutting it out of colored papered, I used Bristol Smooth Card Stock and Kitsch Falmingo Distress Oxide to create the pink heart.  I pulled out a swiss dot embossing folder to give a raised background.  Then I pulled out of my stash from 2020 Simon Says Turtle Doves die set and die cut each one three times for added dimension.  Then I added these cute little hearts to show the love.  Inside, I used a stamp that says Happy, Happy, Happy Anniversary! Thanks for stopping by and create something to show your love!

You're Amazing Birthday Card - January 15, 2022

Off to a great start at using up the craft supplies I have been collecting!  Freshly Made Sketches had an incredible sketch this week which worked perfectly with the MFT maze from 2017.  I pulled out my white card stock and embossed a swirl panel which is perfect with the maze and added some Trinty Stamp stars to match the star in the middle of the maze to add some shine and sparkle. The recipient of this card will have fun getting the sphere over to the star.  The maze is inside an MFT circle shaker and is not bulky.  Inside the card, it says "Have an A-maze-ing Birthday".  I plan to use the MFT You're Amazing Stamp set to make a matching envelope, and on the back of the card put the answer key to the maze.  Here is a close up shot of the maze:

By the way, it feels great to get back into my craft room and use my supplies.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have an A-maze-ing day!

Valentine's Day Maze Card January 15, 2022

When I saw this card design over at Tuesday Morning Sketches, I had to use it!  I have been saving up a lot of craft supplies, and decided 2022 was the year for using them and clearing them out of my stash.  I bought these MFT Stamp mazes  and You're A-maze-ing Stamp Set back in 2017 and this card design gave me inspiration to create a Valentine's Day card that would be fun and interactive.  The inside of the card says "My Heart will Always Find Yours, Happy Valentine's Day."  Thanks for stopping by and I hope this gives you some inspiration.
