Autumn Blessings - October 24, 2016

Life has been so busy, it feels great to get back to posting on my blog again.  Now that the weather is finally starting to feel like Fall, crafting time has begun again!  This card helps celebrate the turning of the weather to the beautiful fall colors around.  I used this beautiful Autumn Blessing Stamp, leaf dies and sponge. Instead of using the leaf cut out by the die, I used it as a mask to sponge in the different colors of fall.  I really like the effect it has on the paper with the yellow, orange and red leaves!  Happy Fall everyone!  Thanks for checking out my blog!

Everyday Occasion - February 25, 2016

My favorite occasion for sending cards to my friends is "Everyday".  An everyday occasion is just a random card to brighten their life!  When you come home from a long day of work, it feels great to go over to the mailbox and just get Happy Mail!  It is not a bill or an advertisement that hits the trash!  It is a card made with love and care for a friend.

These cards were made with Avery Elle Monster Stamps and Monster Dies.  I had fun making different colors of this monster and fun flocking him!  I embossed the card with Cuttlebug folder and hand cut the pendants.  Thanks for stopping by and seeing my everyday cards!

Not Feline Well?

It seems sickness is in the air!  So it is time to get those Get Well Card ready to send! This is such a cute stamp set from Newton Nook Design called Newton Sick Day!  Newton has fast become one of my favorite characters to use on the front of my cards because I have two adorable cats at home also. BRR..... January 18, 2016

I woke up to 17 degrees with the real feel of -3 today!  Tonight, it gets down to 6 degrees!  Chilly!  I decided to play along with the SplitcoastStampers Clean and Simple Card Snow and Ice Challenge CAS360.  I am hoping for a big snow so I could get off work and play!  I just love how this card turned out and it is so cheery in person!  I used Stampin Up Mica Flakes to create the ice snow below and some left over snowflakes from a Stampin Up Paper Pumpkin box which I made glisten!  I love, love, love my Newtown Nook Design Stamp Set Holiday Mischef....and the sentiment is from Unity Stamps Jolly Winter!

New Year's Resolutions - January 18, 2016

We all have these great new year's resolutions to exercise more and eat healthy!  I have been trying to exercise more, but WOW, it is a hard habit to get back to learning.  When I was younger, I exercised by playing sports....but Adult exercise is rough!   I would rather lie on the couch and eat ice cream! I wanted to send a couple girlfriends this card just to give them encouragement so I made two!  I love this Stampingbella Sweaty Chicks stamp set!  It puts a smile on my face.  I hope these cards will put a smile on someone's face this week!
