Birthday Desserts - April 23, 2013

Isn't this just the most adorable image?  I really love it!  It is Humphrey Friends Forever Set!  It looks like the two girls are celebrating a birthday at a retro ice cream polar!  I wish we had one of those nearby! The paper on this card is awesome!!!  It is by Gina K. Designs called birthday hoot. I just love the feel of the paper!  The sketch is by The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS207!

A Happy Hello - April 22, 2013

It is starting to warm up here in Virginia.  I am hoping to see the butterflies and dragonflies soon!  The dragonflies are really attracted to my mother's pool because of the bugs they can find!  They just love flying around, and I love watching them!  They are so beautiful!  I got this great image and all the coordinating paper from my mom as an I LOVE YOU gift!  We give each other I LOVE YOU gifts when we can!  The stamp set is by Gina K Designs.  I used a resist embossing technique on the card, which was super fun!  The sketch also was amazing and really helped highlight the dragonfly and the paper!

Simple Thank You - April 21, 2013

 

I am staring to get back my mojo now!  Today, I made a Thank you card by making a pattern with my circle punch and some left over paper in my stash box!  I just happen to find the brad in a stash of old embellishments!

TEE-rific! April 16, 2013

My brother-in-law loves to golf!  His birthday is coming up June 1st!  I decided this sketch by The Sweet Stop SSS206. I just love the golf paper, the kraft paper tag and the tee!  I hope he has a great birthday!  The inside says "Happy Birthday".

Spring Time Freshly Made - April 14, 2013

Have you ever gone through a time where you struggled with making cards?  I have recently gone through a spell!  My focus has been working on project life and taking pictures for project life.  I hope to post a video on my progress later this week. 

I decided to get back into crafting using the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #81.  I loved the sketch and wanted to celebrate the warm weather!  I think the spring rain will bring some beautiful flowers!  How about you?
