Feelin' Beary Sick - February 18, 2013

Some people dear to me are sick!  I thought it might brighten their day to receive some nice well wishes their way!  Mo's Digital Pencil Too Beary Sick image was the perfect way to create a card for my loved ones!  I have realized that I need to start having more "Get Well Cards" on hand especially by the time I make the card the person is probably well on the road to recovery.  The card layout comes from Sketch Saturday #246.  I added something a little extra by decorating the inside of the card which brings me to my color combo.  My favorite color combo is Purple/Pink.  My favorite color is purple, so I am entering this in the Corrosive Challenge Rainbow Bright #168 which is to use your favorite color combo!  In addition, Paper Shelter is having a Design Team Call, so I thought why not!  That is why I created a close up of my colored image!  And last but not least, Dream Valley Challenge #51 wants you to bring on your bling and ribbon!

The Sweet Stop Sketch SSS198 has a spin to use birds or bees on your card!  At first, I thought I would use bees since I belong to a scrapbooking group called the Queen Bees!  However, digging through my stash, I found this great paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Fine & Dandy.  It has lots of birds, and beautiful papers which which coordinate well together and make a fun card!  Just a perfect way to say thanks to someone so "tweet"!
