Lawn Fawn Mother's Day Card using Magic Changer

 

We are at a time in our crafting journey that it is wonderful to be able to use our supplies in different ways.  For Mother's Day, I took the Lawn Fawn Sweet Strawberry and used it for the front of the Lawn Fawn Magic Picture Changer and inside for my final sentiment to tie everything together.  I think my mother and mother-in-law will love playing with the magic changer.  I also created a video, if you would like to see the magic happen.   Thanks for stopping by and I hope this inspires you!

This week's challenge is your favorite Movie.  One of my favorite movies is Julia and Julia.  

 

 

With my avid interests, I love how she challenges herself to cook those meals from Julia Childs.  I thought about doing this myself for fun!  This inspired my cards today along with two of my friends getting new jobs!  It was fun to create these containers and the pun is perfect!  The stamp set and dies are from Concord and 9th called Kitchen Classics Dies and Kitchen Classic Stamp Set.  These are going to make great layouts for scrapbooking too since I love Pyrex and love cooking! Using My Stash to Create a Fast Card

 

I had lots of extra candies left over from creating my Valentine's Day Cards with Tim Holtz True Love.  I decided to use my basic stash and create some cards that can be used for Birthdays and Thank you Cards.  It is another way to stretch my stash!  I am always looking for ways to get the most of of my supplies.  How about you?  I hope this provides some inspiration.  Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine Cards 2025

 

 

I had a grand time putting together Tim Holtz True Love die set.  It was fun to make my own candies and use those traditional colors of Valentines (pink, red and white).  I added a little gold too.  I used glossy accents to give the candy a realistic look.  Plus, I add some sprinkles, hearts and XO embellishments that I normally use for shakers.  The background is embossed.  I flipped the embossing so it was subtle.  I also added a little Washi tape that is peaking out from behind.  The inside says "Your the Sweetest, Happy Heart Day!"  I made 11 of these cards to spread joy for Valentine's Day.   These cards are 5x7 because  I wanted more real estate to show on the card.  I am also excited because I made more candies to use on upcoming Birthday cards!  Who does not smile when they receive chocolate?  I love chocolate and receiving it as a gift makes me smile! Creating Mini Valentines for School

Valentine's Day Blind Date Book 2025/Video with Instructions

 

I saw blind date books and thought it would be fun to create my own to give to the four avid readers in my life.  I did not want to have to do all those fancy folds with kraft or wrapping paper.  Therefore, I decided to create my own pockets and my own accessories.  I sent these out recently and they seem to be a hit.  The individuals were truly surprised.

I purchased my books on Pango.  A great place to get used books.  I used GoodReads for descriptions, as well as the cover of the book.  I also made sure to incorporate some of my 6 x 6 paper! Thanks for stopping by.

Have a Cozy Day - Concord & 9th

 

With the cold weather, my favorite thing to do is cozy up by the fire.  How about you?  These are just a few cards that I made with the Concord & 9th Fire Stamp and Bundle Die Set.  I actually made more of these cards, it was so fun.  It is so cold outside here that I thought it would be fun to send out some joy with these cards to others during the freezing January.  The sentiment inside reads: Have a Cozy Day!  I used Stickles to elevate the fire.  I distressed the logs with tea dye distress ink.  I created my own frame and used 6x6 paper to make the picture of the cow.  My new items was the paper pack and the square dies to make the frame. Retro Oven Shaped Shaker Card and Tag/Ornament

Quick Christmas Money Card Holder

I made some scrubbies for my friend.  Scrubbies replace wash clothes in the kitchen.  So of course, I had to have a card to go with my gift.  I designed the ruffle curtain for the window.  My goal was to use 6 x 6 papers to make a scene from wallpaper, to the floor, to the paper piercing cabinets, the view out the window and the curtain.
