A+ Teacher
It is that time of the year to Thank the teachers who have touched children's lives. I made a couple of cards which I will be featuring for a co-worker to give to her children's teachers. This card mimics a chalkboard. I made sure the chalkboard was dusty and added a bit of faux stitching to make it pop! Thanks for stopping by!

Removable Bookmark
I made this card with a removable bookmark. The bookmark is the embellishment on the card. I thought a removable bookmark paired well with the image! The image is from The East Wing etsy store. She is marvelous, and I cannot imagine having all of that hair! However, I love it! This will be a great card to send to a friend who loves to read! Not only do they receive a card, but a bookmark too!
I am dedicating this card to Linda Palmer, my blog friend, who has suddenly passed away! She always left me such encouraging comments about my cards, and I loved looking at her blog every week. She could color marvelously! I am going to miss her because she always provided inspiration for me! It is a great reminder to not take life for granted. Cherish everyone around you!

Administrative Day!
This card was created for the Administrative Assistant in our office. She does a lot of work to keep the office moving smoothly. I love the Retro feel to this card! It takes me back to typing class. One thing which I do not miss is having to type perfectly with those carbon papers. It is great to have computers now! However, I still love the look of a typewriter. The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches! It was the perfect sketch to showcase this theme! The designer paper is from Echo Park For the Record!

I must apologize for the picture quality since I was using a different camera. However, I had a great time making these cards. I thought a cross popping up in this a2 card was perfect! He is Risen, and this is why we celebrate Easter! Thanks for stopping by!
